June 1, 2022 – The Brampton Board of Trade hosted over 20 women at Sweet Chandelier in Brampton, for the first in-person Connectwork meeting since March 2020.
Connectwork is a business networking event where women in business come together to learn from one another, discuss important topics, and meet like-minded individuals.
Thank you to Maria of Sweet Chandelier for providing a beautiful space and some sweet treats, as she spoke about a topic very close to her heart: Setting Boundaries! Saying no without guilt.
Too often, we feel as though we must say yes to every invite, every request and every opportunity. This event was a reminder that it’s okay to prioritize yourself and your happiness before everyone else’s requests. When you set boundaries and take care of your own mental health and happiness, you are far more productive than when you are burnt out from over scheduling yourself.
We would like to thank our sponsors Maple Lodge Farms, Dynacare, JD Factors and Prouse, Dash & Crouch for giving us the opportunity to bring Brampton business owners together to share, learn and network.
You can learn more about Connectwork on our website. Don’t forget to register for our next session!
