Back for the third year in a row, look out for the 2022 Business Confidence Index to land in your inbox soon after Labour Day. Topics explored will include Brampton businesses’ level of confidence in the local economy, their views on policy priorities (including infrastructure projects) and their satisfaction with various levels of government and government departments. This year we will consolidating it from three separate surveys to one, covering the same breadth of subject matter, to make participation more convenient and accessible for you.
With survey results available from 2020 and 2021, this year’s survey will have clear benchmarks available to track trends and changes in business confidence. The 2022 survey report will be released well in advance of the October 24th municipal election, allowing for the public, candidates and media to react to business community priorities before voters make their choice.
