Back for the fourth year, results of the 2023 Business Confidence Index (BCI) have just been released! This survey of Brampton business leaders asks about topic issues, measuring views on policy and priorities. Overall confidence is up year-over-year, with increases in the number of respondents who are confident in the city’s economic future as well as that of their own organization. Transportation infrastructure as grown significantly as a concern for business leaders (from 25% to 42%), while housing and affordable housing nearly doubled from 13% to 22%. Confidence in civic leadership has grown on the municipal level, with improvements in respondent approval of most municipal service areas that we asked about. Read the full results here.
