Prosperity Agenda 2020-21
Each year, a diverse group of business leaders meet as part of the annual Prosperity Roundtable. The outcome of this meeting is the Prosperity Agenda, a roadmap designed to help business leaders become more aware of the key drivers of our economy such as transportation, innovation, and civic leadership.
Policy & Government Relations Committee
The PGR committee identifies, researches, and formulates the Board’s position on public policy and advises the Board of Directors on how to take action. The committee covers issues such as finance and taxation, economic development, infrastructure investment, and more. The committee’s main purpose is to ensure that issues affecting the business community are voiced at all levels of government.

As new members of BBOT we are very impressed with the ability of staff to place our public policy concerns in front of Government decision makers. The education and round table events hosted by BBOT have been a key part of our successful advocacy program.
Business Confidence Survey
Our team and Narrative Research surveyed Brampton Board of Trade members on the topic of Business Confidence. The survey touched on a number of areas including enterprise and economic outlook along with government city-building initiatives, competitiveness, transit and transportation, trade, innovation and more.
