The Brampton Board of Trade wants to boost local consumer engagement with Brampton businesses, and make a difference in the community. One of the ways that we make that difference is by supporting companies who will positively impact the lives of others in Brampton locally, in Canada domestically, and on a global stage internationally.
On Saturday January 28th, The Brampton Board of Trade was invited to the grand opening of one such company, Logistiks Canada Inc., located at 115 East Drive in Brampton, Ontario. Logistiks helps companies and individuals realize their goals by providing first class courier and freight services anywhere in the globe. As part of the grand opening, there were some star studded attendees including Brampton Mayor Mr. Patrick Brown, who presented a Certificate of Achievement to company CEO Syed Raza, and the Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sport, MPP Sheref Sabawy (Mississauga-Erin Mills), who also gave congratulatory remarks and fielded questions about the state of sport and youth in Peel Region.
The Board of Trade is always proud to showcase Brampton locally, domestically, and internationally because Brampton has everything to offer. We keep diversity, equity and inclusion top of mind with everything that we are a part of. Attending this event encapsulates what we do best: collaborate, create solutions and build a stronger economy. We know that small and medium sized businesses are the backbone of the economy. When they are struggling, as they have with Covid, the economy struggles. But when they succeed, everyone wins! This company’s success will certainly help our economy become stronger, become more productive, and build connections between businesses and consumers.
