On April 5th, the Brampton Board of Trade hosted Peel Regional Chair Nando Iannicca for its inaugural State of the Region event. Over 150 business people gathered in Brampton to hear from him. Chair Iannicca shared his perspective on the challenges and opportunities posed by regional government, and offered insight into how the Region is a partner for growth in Brampton. After a networking break, Brampton Board of Trade Chair, Daniel Lewis hosted a fireside chat with the Peel Regional Chair. Members asked questions about transit and transportation, including building of the GTA West Corridor (Hwy 413), location of a proposed consumption side in downtown Brampton, and other audience questions.
