Brampton Board of Trade Directors and CEO receive the Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee pin
The Brampton Board of Trade is pleased to announce that Brampton Centre MP Shafqat Ali, has selected the Brampton Board of Trade’s Chair of the Board, Donna Fagon-Pascal, Director, Johanne Rappoccio and CEO, Todd Letts, to receive the Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee pin. The pins were presented by MP Ali at a ceremony in his Constituency Office, on Friday, October 7th, 2022.
The Platinum Jubilee emblem was created to mark the 70th anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s accession to the Throne, a historic milestone. Members of Canada’s Parliament (MPs) have been asked to identify worthy individuals to receive a commemorative pin. They are awarded to community members who exemplify the public service that was the hallmark of Her Majesty’s reign.
The award to Donna Fagon-Pascal is in recognition of her efforts at keeping Brampton citizens and our local economy healthy. As VP for HR, Communications and Public Affairs for Dynacare, her leadership on initiatives such as Dynacare for Diabetes has been exemplary. She was also instrumental in assisting employers in their on-site vaccination programs that helped limit the spread of COVID in 2021. She currently serves as Chair of the Brampton Board of Trade and is an active advocate for Brampton at the provincial and federal levels.
Johanne Rappoccio is being recognized for her work in supporting business and innovation in Brampton. As General Manager for Climateworks, Johanne has been at the forefront of mission-critical heat exchange technology. She has been an active advisor for Brampton’s Innovation Network, a mentor to many small businesses, and has served as VP Finance and as a Director on the Brampton Board of Trade.
Todd Letts is being recognized for his contributions to the Brampton, national and international business communities. Todd is CEO of the Brampton Board of Trade. His efforts have helped grow the Board of Trade’s influence in public policy. An active advocate for talent, transportation and transit solutions, Todd also serves on the Executive of the World Chambers Federation as Vice-chair for the Americas. Through his international efforts, Todd focuses on accelerating digitization for small and medium enterprises, the empowerment of women’s leadership, climate action, and international trade.
